Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TenacityHQ (“we”, “us”) makes software, including the PillTail app and other products listed on tenacityhq.com. This policy covers our website and every app that links to it. A product may add a short supplement for anything specific to it; where it does, the supplement is linked from that app.

2. The data your apps hold

Our apps are local-first. What you enter (for example medication schedules, dose logs, cycle or pregnancy notes) is stored in encrypted storage on your device. We do not receive it.

• If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
• If a product offers backup or sync, it is optional and encrypted on your device with a key only you hold before it is saved to storage you choose. We cannot read it. Details are in our Privacy Charter.

3. Data we may receive

We keep this to the minimum needed to run the service:

• Emails you send us. If you contact support or join a waitlist or newsletter, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply or to send what you asked for.
• Purchases. If a product is paid, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive confirmation of the purchase, not your card details.
• Diagnostics. If a product collects crash or performance data, it is aggregate, contains no health or financial content, and is disclosed in the store listing. Where your device lets you opt out, you can.
• Website. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) briefly for security and reliability.

4. What we never do

• We never sell, rent or trade personal data.
• We never share data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We never include advertising or behavioural-tracking SDKs in our products.
• We never use health data for advertising, marketing or data mining.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to operate (for example email delivery and website hosting). They process data only on our instructions and only for that purpose. Your app records are never sent to them, because we never have them.

6. How long we keep data

Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you, then deleted. Newsletter and waitlist addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Data on your device is kept until you delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its use. Since your app records stay on your device, you already control them directly. For anything we hold, such as an email address, write to privacy@tenacityhq.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Our current apps are intended for adults. Products designed for young people will follow the applicable children’s privacy laws and app store family policies, and will collect no personal data from children without verified parental consent.

9. Security

We design so that there is as little as possible to protect: data stays on your device and backups are encrypted end to end. If you find a vulnerability, please report it to security@tenacityhq.com.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for meaningful changes we will tell you in the affected app before they apply. We will never weaken the commitments in section 4.
